━ SOME CONTROL THEIR DEMONS BUT HIS DEMONS ARE IN CONTROL━
Blood. It was life. Vampires lived on it; your heart would beat, and the vampire would come and attack. Of course not many vampires lived this life, Damien wasn’t one of those. But he wasn’t one to drink from anything other than the best. Call him a lover of royal and noble blood, but think what you may. But being a warrior, one that died in the act of battle, he knew the taste and the stain of blood. Becoming a vampire made this worst, killing innocence from the beginning of his vampire days. But from his first taste of human blood, after the slaughter of the people that had killed him, he had the thrill of the kill imprinted upon his noble mind. And of course his family had felt the same, except for Wesley, but that was no surprise. Of course, they all rose to the throne of the vampire world. And his thirst for power was quenched until he was thrown away like a piece of trash and tortured for centuries.
Now freed from the earth like a plague, he played it to his advantage. His siblings wanted revenge, and he wasn’t about to say no to revenge, but he also wasn’t about to say no to the pleasures of the world that surrounded him. He was careful, or as careful as his mind would let him. In the eyes of others, it wasn’t careful or even close to it, but in his eyes…it was. And people feared him, as they should. He was a creature of the night. A demon with the face of an angel. And that was just the way he liked it.
But now was different, things were changing and fucking up the plan. His brother had gotten some chick pregnant; he had a little niece or nephew, and that meant one thing. Revenge might not be as close at hand as he and his sister, Piper, had original been lead to believe. But a part of him still couldn’t be upset with his brother, not in the slightest. And maybe that was why he allowed his brother to drag him out of the house, away from the blood party he was having with some women and to a bar. But Damien had arrived rather early, or so it would seem, by the barren bar that held no sign of his brother. Cain probably assumed it would take him a while to get away from his party, and thus he was showing up a little later. But whatever, he’d enjoy his time while he waited. And it would all start with a drink.
Making his way to the bar, where a beautiful bartender laid in wait, he maneuvered himself into an empty seat. One that was currently next to another empty seat, a place for his brother when he arrived. His hand raised and he shooed the bartender over to him, flashing a seductive smile as he looked her over. “Bourbon. And bring me the bottle, would you love?” he questioned in a husky voice. A giggle erupted from the girl, one that earned a glare from her manager, before she quickly sobered up and disappeared to get his drink ready.
