There was a reason as to why he was so hateful, if it wasn't for his siblings having pegged him for the asshole the times he was there protecting them. Maybe he wouldn't have developed into the asshole he was today. Though the death of the wiccan girl he had been seeing prior to his time here possibly affected him. Was this possible karma to all the bad things he had done in the past? Quite possibly, he was never meant to be happy. Nor was he ever meant to be the good guy, he was always pegged as the bad guy. Even if he was trying to keep someone from killing his family on an accident or being enslaved by their lover.
He had even pushed away a girl for the simple fact that he didn't want to feel, it was better to not feel that way he didn't have someone to lose. It was better to be hated, to be loathed. That's why Lucien didn't care if his parent's died. Sure he lingered briefly at their funerals but he never stayed. He never mourned. Why should he, nobody mourned for him. Nobody even told them about their lives or invited him to family get togethers. He was always the blip in people's lives never the full episode. Ah well, not like he really cared right?
To be matter of fact, he was taking his anger out on a poor human. His fangs deep in the poor girl's neck as her eyes fluttered close as she struggled to push him away. Which only lead him to pull her closer to his frame, to feed off every lasting drop of her sweet blood until there was nothing left. As soon as her heart stopped beating he dropped her. Watching her corpse fall with a heavy thud in the park, he let out an exasperated sigh. "Man that was sweet, i'll remember to send a postcard to mummy and daddy in england that your plane crashed or something less gorey to mourn." He spoke in a raspy voice as he wiped her blood off his lips with his hand. He enjoyed being a vampire, he could stay out as long as he wanted. Get what or whoever he wanted, kill whoever he wanted and get away with it. It was the life of being a vampire, though the con of being one was that he couldn't get drunk. Which was his favorite past time when he actually could but throughout the years he had grown a slight immunity to it. Resulting into a high tolerance to his favorite alcohol. Bourbon.
Leaving the corpse behind, Lucien began to walk through the park. Hands tucked into his jeans as he observed the scenery before hearing a distant scream upon a person that had found his late night snack. Listening to the sirens in the distance indicating that the police were about to arrive caused the vampire to become mischievous as a crooked smirk played along his lips. If the people he grew close to had to get hurt and die, then what was to stop Lucien from hurting others? From making them feel what he had been secretly feeling all his life? Blue eyes narrowed as he ventured back to his own little crime scene. Watching as the female sputtered frantically on the phone to the operator before he slipped out of the shadows. "Should have been here sooner, you'd have gotten more of a description on the girl. Probably have saved her life, but i'm no gloater. I don't kill and tell." Grinning he had flashed toward her, grabbing the cellphone that was in her hand as she broke into a run for it.
Rolling his blue eyes in amusement, he broke the phone and chucked it at the corpse. "Why is it, that the white chicks always run?" He spoke to the dead girl, before taking one step forward and then flashed after her. Catching the girl right before she attempted to cross the street to the SFPD he covered her mouth, twisting her around so that his blue eyes dilated when her green eyes caught his. "You're gonna walk away with me, regardless if you're scared or not. No screaming." Slowly he let her go and began to walk, motioning for her to follow. Smirking coyly as she did, he lead her toward a bar where he opened the door for her and ventured inside after her.
"Shelly, my gal. Gimme a bourbon and a fruity drink for the lady, i think it's gonna be one hell of a night." He called out to the bartender, winking at the blonde before he gestured for the girl to sit on the stool. Playing with his prey.
