━ SHE MAY LOOK BROKEN BUT SHE IS ANYTHING BUT ━
Her entire life she had never thought she would be like this. Never thought that she would forget a bit of her history to the unknown void that had kept her locked away for a few years. The idea of not knowing what happened to her, not remembering what the person looked like, was something that haunted her. Little pieces of it came back in her dreams, at least, that is what she believed when she woke up screaming and her parents told her she kept begging within her sleep. The sweat that always caked her skin was enough to show them all that the memories that she was either suppressing or forgotten somehow, were horrifying. Her therapist didn’t even know what to make of it, especially because suppressed memories always had a way of coming back through time of talking. Something had forced her mind to forget, and both the therapist and the doctors were at a loss.
Maybe that was why she was at the local nightclub without a care in the world. The idea of forgetting anything more was clear on her mind and while she wasn’t one to go out to a nightclub, that night she had. Arianna had brought her along and when she was left to her own devices, she looked around as if she were out of place. Sadly, she was. Her hair curled to perfection, her dress long enough to cover the necessary parts and her makeup done by her sister, she looked like the natural party goer, but on the inside, she was shaking. She was out of place, out of her zone and forced into a life that she never wanted to live. What had she done to deserve a life like this?
Her sister having disappeared from her view, Breanna was left to do whatever she pleased. But what does one do in a nightclub, do they drink, dance? She pushed her fingers through her curly hair as she made her way through the throng of people. Finally, she pushed free of the darkness and the sweaty bodies and sat down at the bar, right in front of the bartender. He looked at her, as if expecting her to order something, and quickly she cleared her throat. “Just a soda.” she told the man and he gave her a look before quickly going to fetch it. Wow, she really sucked at this scene. A soda, really Breanna? she questioned herself internally.
