It was long before the club was set to open for the night and Jane hadn't dared pass up the chance to practice just a little more. Granted, it's not like they really needed it, but she liked to be as prepared as possible. Besides, this was a venue that they had never played before. She needed to get a feel for the acoustics before they played that night. There was nothing worse than playing too loud or too softly, especially when the clientele could end up paying a pretty penny to be there. The last thing that the owner needed was for him to lose customers. At least that was Erikur's philosophy. Jane just told herself she needed to practice. Glancing to the side, she noted the way that her father stood, arms crossed over his chest, leaning against the bar. It was a vantage point for him, she was sure; his way of ensuring that the four of them were safe.
Shifting the leather jacket on her shoulders, Jane took the steps two at a time until she was standing on the stage. Hyram, Avery, and Julian were clearly prepared. It'd been Jane that had been holding them up. Sticking her tongue out them in the most childish manner that she could manage, she finally turned back toward the microphone. Picking up her guitar, she slung it gently across her front, testing a few chords with a furrowed brow. She was worried about a string breaking, but it happened. Julian was the one who broke them the most. It was amusing until it wasn't, really. Then again, when didn't Jane find something amusing?
Glancing back at them, she nodded lightly for them to start the song. And just like that, the room was filled with music, the thumping of a beat, and the rhythm of guitars. Her fingers moved easily along the strings of her own guitar. Then the siren opened her mouth to sing, belting out the first few lines of the song with an extreme ease. There were few people here, just her, the band, her father, and the owners, but she was already a little self-conscious of the way that her voice would draw others in that night. Even though she didn't intend to use any of them, she knew her voice had a magnetism to it that few could resist. Would it ever mean that she wanted to stop singing? Hell no. This was pretty much all she had known her entire life and it was what she loved. She was a siren and she was going to sing, damnit.
"This isn't violence this is just a war in my head, I give it time but it never seems to end. I feel a fire in the back of my throat, so let's get covered in flames and play some games with the smoke," Jane sang, her gaze drifting about the room as she tried to get a feel for how large the place was. She continued on through the verses, adjusting her voice as she needed to ensure she wasn't being too overbearing. When they were finished, Jane stepped away from the mic and then spun around on her heel, throwing both of her arms into the air, "Hell yes! I love iiiiit," she giggled, hopping from one foot to the other and turning to flash a smile at her father. He seemed amused, but it was hard to tell with that constantly stoic expression.
Julian made a witty comment and Jane simply made a biting motion back at him before slipping the strap of her guitar over her head and setting it down. "Okay. I think that's all we needed, right? Now we just wait?" she hummed as she wandered back to stand by her dad. The others followed closely behind, going to settle at a table. Jane waved at the owner, giving him a playful smile and bumping her hip against her fathers, which made him chuckle, ruffle her hair, and then move over to sit with the boys. "Heyooo. Do you have anything... that isn't alcoholic?" Jane asked sweetly, glancing back at the boys. "Like... Pepsi or something. I don't think any of them have drank a glass of water in entire their lives," she touted easily. Hyram called over a 'hey!' and Jane giggle, sticking her tongue out at him, clearly teasing. Leaning her on her hands against the bar, her smile turned into a grin, "I mean... unless you're willing to break a few laws."

Notes: So I am just gonna play her friends until people take them, I guess! Hope that this is okayyyyyy! Here is the song she sang: LINK Since I changed her face, let's just say she did a cover to start... because lets face it, if Demi did a cover of that song, I would literally die.
