WE ALL HAVE OUR DEMONS, HIS ARE IN CONTROL Blood. It was life. Vampires lived on it, your heart would beat and the vampire would come and attack. Of course not many vampires lived this life, Damien wasn’t one of those. But he wasn’t one to drink from anything other than the best. Call him a lover of royal and noble blood, but think what you may. But being a warrior, one that died in the act of battle, he knew the taste and the stain of blood. Becoming a vampire made this worst, killing innocence from the beginning of his vampire days. But from his first taste of human blood, after the slaughter of the people that had killed him, he had the thrill of the kill imprinted upon his noble mind. And of course his family had felt the same, except for Wesley, but that was no surprise. Of course, they all rose to the throne of the vampire world. And his thirst for power was quenched, until he was thrown away like a piece of trash and tortured for centuries.
Now freed from the earth like a plague, he played it to his advantage. His siblings wanted revenge, and he wasn’t about to say no to revenge, but he also wasn’t about to say no to the pleasures of the world that surrounded him. He was careful, or as careful as his mind would let him. In the eyes of others, it wasn’t careful or even close to it, but in his eyes…it was. And people feared him, as they should. He was a creature of the night. A demon with the face of an angel. And that was just the way he liked it.
The door behind him opened, darkness was filled with the beam of light.
“What do you want love?”
The woman slowly threw her arms around him, watching as he slowly fixed his tux and pulled his tie into perfection, he could feel the plumpness of her breast about his arm. He glanced to the side, noticing her nude appearance, but that was because the bra and underwear were hidden by the muscle that belonged on Damien body. She purred in his ear, telling him she wanted to play and his eyes turned hard. “We played all night, I must leave.” he told the woman in a hard voice, watching as her face fell. He turned to face her, cupping her cheek and pushing back her hair. He smiled at her thus invoking a smile in return. And then his eyes turned hard, emotions dropped and he twisted her neck. The sound of bones snapping was welcomed and then he dropped her body to the ground.
He glanced down at her with a sigh, he had met her at the club last night and had taken up the offer of returning her home and then a night of passionate ensued and he found himself waking up the next morning still within her room, she nowhere to be found. He knew that leaving San Francisco behind for the night was a bad idea, but sometimes he just needed to get out. His accent had caught all the ladies, and that made it easier to not only find a body to keep him warm at night but also a thing of blood to quench his thirst.
As he was driving back to San Francisco, his car roaring to life down a dusty old pathway, he noticed a woman, a body of a young boy on the ground near her. Blood pooling beneath him, quickly he pulled over and removed himself from the car, growing closer and closer. His tall and powerful demeanor radiating from him, the smell of blood overwhelming and that was when he noticed the metal that sat situated in her hands. He smirked, a killer he had stumbled upon. He waited a moment, the smell of blood clear in the air before he finally spoke, “It seems like I’ve stumbled upon a nice show.”
The woman’s gasp didn’t go unnoticed and she raised the gun, it was shaking within her hands but he already lurched forward, swatting the gun from her hands and grabbing her neck. He smirked, looking her in the eyes, using his compulsion to his advantage. She finally relaxed within his grasp and he smirked, before he attacked, his teeth ripping into his flesh. Anyone that drove past the Muri Woods would notice him, and he didn’t care. WORDS: 740 || TAGGED: @open template by Margie @ Adoxography v2

don't know where i'm going but i know just where i've been blood was the entire reason they were in this mess in the first place. blood and greed. it was her love for the both, and too her sibling's shared taste for it, which led them down the road they faced. without their greed and need for power, taking many lives and letting bloodlust consume them in the process, they could have perhaps still been living happily. piper would have had her fiance and her sweet baby boy and all together, the three ashmores would have been spared great, torturous pain at the hands of the council. unfortunately, it was not so. perhaps it was the fates or just karma itself, but something had struck them down from their glory. their reign lasted for some time as they spread terror throughout the community for their own pleasures. now, they had nothing. at least that was how piper viewed it. and in the absence of nothing, she was determined for revenge.
while revenge had been the driving factor over the last twenty years, it had seemed to be put slightly on the back burner. cain was preoccupied with his blonde bimbo and her predicament, to which piper was entirely oblivious to. all she knew was that the time away from her closest brother, her support system, was entirely noted. it had pissed her off to the point she'd decided to temporarily write him off. and it was about that time wyatt came into the picture. it was still a swirl of unknown but it was an unknown she was willing to accept. her broken self felt slightly mended when she was in his company.
but even the handsome lycan couldn't cure her bloodlust. the councli had made sure of that, so that she would be forever punished. she was never quite sure why they'd released her and her brothers but it wasn't before stripping them of everything. only piper, who had butted heads the most with artemis auric, had made sure to curse her with one extra thing: insatiable desire for blood. while all vampires had that to a degree, they were able to be satisfied after feeding. piper was void of such a reward. no matter how much she fed, she would never feel full, but always hungry instead. she'd deduced that the council hoped she'd go mad, ripping apart the city so they had a reason to kill her once and for all. she'd gotten close to that point a few times but managed to stay elusive.
it wasn't often that piper chose to utilize public transportation but she'd settled for a cab on this night. she was done with the world around her and frankly, she just wanted to get home. her head was pounding not only from her hunger but from the numerous drinks she'd had at the bar. the driver had made his way out of the downtown area, driving toward their mansion-like home as she instructed. the vampire rested her blond head against the window, lifting it up only once to glance out the window absentmindedly. she didn't need to take a second glance at the sight before her, shaking her head as she witnessed her brother committing murder. you know, just another day in the life.
"stop, let me out here." she shouted at the driver, throwing a handful of crumbled bills at him before slinking from the car. as she neared, piper crossed her arms of her chest, glancing at damien with a scolding look. "i'm surprised you're on your own here tonight. not following cain around like a lost puppy tonight?" she sneered with a light grin. while her relationship was much more abrasive, she loved damien all the same. "and you didn't even save me a drink. how rude." she motioned to the body, not particularly caring who saw. then again, it reminded her of her recent discovery. "the aurics are back, you know." and that was all she said of it, hiding the fear she once had for them. now, it was nothing but hatred. sibling time template by Margie @ Adoxography v2

HIS DEMONS ARE IN CONTROL [attr="class","next"]Blood, he loved the feeling of it sliding down his throat and the warmth that filled his being as he indulged in the blood lust. He had loved it the first moment he had drank the drink of life and he loved it even more throughout the centuries. It had even come apparent that after the torture that his family, including himself, had gone through that he loved it even more. The taste of it, the thrill of the kill, it filled him with so many desires. Sure he knew that revenge against those that had thrown him off his throne was greater than his lust for blood, or the fact that the new Council was looking for a reason to kill each of his siblings and himself, but he didn’t care. He knew he shouldn’t indulge in the blood, his siblings would be furious at his carelessness, but he was too lost in the moment. The blood poured down his throat, the woman squirmed in his arms and yet he held on tighter, feeling her heart beat against his chest and her blood run down his throat. She kept whimpering with each tear of flesh, and then the sound of a car door was heard. The woman’s heart seemed to pick up as if she were almost saved, but as a voice called out through his haze in a scolding tone, he smirked. The girl wasn’t saved at all. His sister, Piper, sneered at him with jabs of his relationship with Cain. And with that, he finished the girl off and dropped her lifeless body to the ground. Blood still on his lips and his fangs still out he turned to his sister smirking. “It sounds to me dear sister that you are jealous. Would you rather be the one I follow around like an ‘lost puppy’ as you call me?” he questioned as he licked his lips and felt his fangs disappear from sight. ‘And you didn’t even save me a drink. How rude.’Damien’s attention was drawn to the dead woman on the ground, blood still around the wound that he had placed there before he smirked, “I don’t share my meals.” he stated truthfully and greedily. He had never been one to share, not food or meals or secrets. His attention, however, was fully adverted from the dead maiden towards his sister as she spoke words that pierced him right through his revenge-finding heart. “They are back?” he questioned, his eyes darkening. “How long have you known they’ve returned?” he questioned, slightly angry that he was once again the last to know this information. don't know where i'm going but i know just where i've been it seemed that the ashmore clan had learned very little from their time in the clutches of the aurics. either they were stupid or just too smart to bow to higher authority with no morals[not that they had any either]. which they were was highly debatable by many. no matter what the aurics did to them, piper would never give into them. she would die on her knees opposing them rather than live obediently on her feet. they'd not only hurt her family -damien and cain- but her ex-fiance and son too. for that, they would never be forgiven. she could die for all she fucking cared but she'd see to it first that the aurics suffered greatly. she didn't even want their death; not really, anyway. sure, it would be an acceptable means to an end, but it wouldn't allow them the suffering she had endured. death was too merciful for them.
"you know cain is going to find out about this." she taunted him as he continued to take his fill from the woman, all while doing nothing to stop him. ever since wesley had abandoned them, the next brother in line seemed to take over as the one in charge of their family. he was the one that she looked to for support, the one damien idolized, and the one who would always know what was going on. gaze rolled at his comment, though she found a certain amusement in it. "quite certain i'm not jealous. if i wanted a pest, i'd go get lice." she let the silence reign over them for a moment before adding her another tidbit of information. "rumor has it he's knocked up that blonde bimbo. don't think either of us will be seeing much of him for eighteen years." though it came out as sarcastic and cool, the notion of the entire ordeal made her blood boil. how could cain have gone and done something so stupid.
it seemed she was all about things that pissed her off today, her attention jumping from one subject of agitation to another. a shrug was the first response she had to damien's question, feeling rather bitchy about his reaction. though she was a selfish little brat, she would never admit that she had lost the most out of all of them. sure, they'd all been stripped of their powers, tortured, and humiliated...but piper had felt as though she lost so much more. after all, she was without a fiance and her child. how could anyone ever understand how she felt, including her brother?
"few weeks. i had a run in with the red haired cunt." she attempted to come off nonchalant but her voice shook with anger at the thought of her interaction with artemis. "cain told me not to act." she stated simply, though it was a statement that invoked a lot of emotion within her. she knew what cain had said...that they needed to bide their time and plan for the best time to attack. but they were moving too slow and now he had a child on the way. for the first time in her entire life, she'd considered ignoring the advice of her brother. "but i intend to. i am not going to sit by idlely." she left the ball in damien's court at that point, waiting to see if he were going to follow his favorite brother or the words of his sister. sibling time template by Margie @ Adoxography v2

━ SOME CONTROL THEIR DEMONS BUT HIS DEMONS ARE IN CONTROL━Who would of thought that it would be Damien’s stupidity that had gotten his entire clan of siblings into the mess of immortality? But at least not of them complained about it, not even Damien cared about being a vampire when he had the power and the immortality. But when the Aurics had come ripping into their lives, things had changed entirely. Tortured both physically and mentally, Damien and the rest of his siblings were locked away from the world as their power and authority was snatched from their beaten bodies. It was meant to teach them a lesson, meant to make them more attuned to the Aurics ruling after they were feared from the years of their imprisonment. Damien, while the memories of that time still fresh beneath his breast, didn’t care much for those supposed lessons. He enjoyed the kill and the slaughtering of innocence, enjoyed the moments he actually got to be a vampire and rule over the humans in the little manners. And if someone didn’t like that, well then he would kill them. Albeit, he would never kill his own siblings when they judged him for his childish ways.
Damien laughed as his sister taunted him with words of his brother, Cain, finding out about this little killing he had found himself participating in. “There is not much he can do to me now that the woman is dead.” he said with a wicked grin appearing upon his lips. His eyes sparkling with the fresh kill and the amusement that he found himself living through at that moment. The amusement grew more as his sister told him that he would rather go out and get lice than have him follow her around like he supposedly did with Cain. He let out another laugh before speaking, “I doubt you would want lice dear sister. You enjoy a beautiful appearance and those little pests will ruin that.”
‘Rumor has it he's knocked up that blonde bimbo. Don't think either of us will be seeing much of him for eighteen years.’
His attention perked up and his attention snapped towards his sister, eyes narrowing slightly. “He got some chick pregnant? When did this happen?” he asked in a slightly annoyed and demanding tone. While Piper seemed more collected at the revelation of their brother producing a child at that given moment, Damien was far from it. With a child in the picture and eighteen years of dealing with his brother’s disappearance to care for the child with the mother, there was no doubt in his mind that their plans of revenge would be postponed. It annoyed him. Already they had waited enough and stayed back from their plans, waiting for the most productive moment to strike, and now it they would be forced to wait even longer. Damien wanted the Aurics dead and their lives to return to the way they were and supposed to be. And if he had to wait another bloody moment, he would recklessly go after those vampires himself, even if it results in his death. But at least he would take a few down with him.
“Bloody hell,” breathed Damien, running his fingers through his brunette hair. If it had been Damien that ran in with Artemis he would have acted, and he wouldn’t of cared. While he followed his brother around mindlessly, it didn’t mean he always listened to his siblings. He took what he wanted. As his sister spoke that she intends to act and that she will not sit by idly, he nodded his head in agreement. “If our brother does pull into himself for the next eighteen years of his mistakes life, I will not sit back either. I’ve waited long enough for revenge and I will not wait more.”
