- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -WITH NO PLACE TO GO, NO PLACE TO GO TO DRY HER EYES BROKEN INSIDE - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Trying to find a place to stay wasn't exactly the easiest thing for Danica. She did bring some money with her when she left home, but she was trying to keep as much of that as she could for food. Finding a good place to sleep for her price range didn't leave her with a wide range to chose from. As she walked through the streets of San Francisco, she figured this would be a night she would be left to sleep outdoors. It was coming close to midnight and she had no idea where to go. She was carrying with her a duffle bag and back pack as she made her way to a local park. Taking a seat on an empty bench, she exhaled lightly placing her bags beside her. In those mere two bags were all her belongings that she'd taken with her the night she left. She tried to fit as much as she could, remembering to take things of importance. Unzipping her backpack she removed her mini photo album, it was something she felt she couldn't afford to leave behind. A sweet smile came to her lips as she looked at the pictures flicking through the pages. Memories came rushing back to her of how happy she was growing up. Turning the page again her eyebrows furrowed. In one of the slots wasn't a photo, but paper. Removing what she assumed was one page, she saw was more.
Unfolding them, her eyes scanned it as she realised what they were. The papers her biological mother had left the night she gave Danica to the orphanage. It was less than a month ago when she found out that she had been adopted and was, a Wiccan. She looked through the pages seeing what was on them, a self written birth cert, a letter her mother left explaining she was a Wiccan and Danica would be too. Finally there was another page, one for advice with helping Danica when she came to know her powers. Looking through the tips she came to the last one. If you fail in helping my daughter, there's a Coven in San Francisco that help Wiccans. If you have to, send her there. Danica furrowed her eyebrows as she flipped the page and saw what she presumed was the address to said Coven. She packed away the pages and photo album and remained seated for a moment. Looking around she pondered on the thought. Should she go to the address? Then again what did she have to lose? Picking back up her belongings she began walking again, she stood on the side of the road trying to flag down a taxi. Though she was all about saving money, she had no idea how to get to the address, so her best option was a taxi and hope it wouldn't cost too much.
Thankfully it didn't take long for a taxi to pull up next to her, getting inside she told him where she needed to go. The ride was silent, it being so late Danica wasn't really up for making conversation, then again she hadn't been up to talk to any strangers lately. Her eyes remained on the window as she watched the scenery pass by, she tried to remember where he was going in case she had to venture back that she would know how to get there on foot. Snapping from her thoughts at the sound of the driver's voice, she handed over the money and she was lucky it wasn't extreme expensive. "Thank you" she smiled before putting her back pack on and slinging the duffle bag strap over her shoulder she began to walk towards the building. Nerves quickly kicked in, she didn't know what to do or say and it was obvious in her face about how she felt. Biting her lower lip she slowly neared the building. Her breath was slightly heavy due to the cold air of the night and due to her nerves. Walking up the few steps she swallowed the lump in her throat as she used her free hand to knock carefully on the door. "Breath Danica, breath" she whispered to herself.

Esmeralda, Meeting, DANICA WINTERS lyrics @ Lana Del Rey. notes – words - 640ish
In the Land of Gods and Monsters I was an Angel
Esmeralda was sitting in her office with her reading glasses on as she read the newspaper, from the Chronicles that was detailed about events in San Francisco. One of Tate’s lovers works at the Chronicles and it was only out of pure curiosity was Esme even reading the paper, though she really wanted to know if there were any ‘accidents’ of any kind going about. Now that there was a war, the Grand Coven is more than alert, but ready to step in when things get too out of hand, and too many civilians and Wiccans are caught in the crossfire of the idiocy of the Vampires and Lycans. The two species are still fighting a war that has been going on since they both were created and ever since they have been at each other’s throats, killing each other’s faction leaders, both sides wanting to destroy the other. The Grand Coven has always been there to facilitate and make sure the people are safe, but just being the referee and the police was becoming a tiring act that Esmeralda was quickly approaching the thought of doing something new.
Esme scanned the paper as she read reports of acts in allies and people with their necks ripped open by an unknown assailant. The blonde haired Wiccan sighed a bit as she continued to read the tragedies that were occurring, and she was not liking what she was reading, and she dared not turn on the television to find something more recent. The war has been plotted for years, ever since a lycan pack of vast numbers came in and settled in San Fran there has been nothing but tension and testing boundaries from both sides. The Grand Coven has tried its best on dealing with the rogues and rebels, but they cannot take them all and it was only a matter of time all that tension as going to boil over, so only now is the time for a different method in dealing with the Vampires and Lycans. On top of the war, Esme has to deal with incoming students and those already enrolled in their teachings making it all the more reason to protect those who are innocent from the war crimes that are being committed.
Esmeralda was still dressed in her evening attire when she stepped out to get things for the house and return home to help those who were still in the Blackwood Mansion. The blonde was a very classical woman and dressed in a simple white blouse with a black pencil skirt, then walked in stylish black heels. Esmeralda crossed her legs as she leaned in to read the newspaper that was on office desk, and her brows furrowed in reading about gunshots and missing people near the Muir Woods, which struck Esme as something the Hunters would do. Although, the tactics she was reading didn’t seem like those hunters were any other she has met or seen, but trained far past that of normal hunter, seeing that the newspaper report that the bullet was complete silver. Something rather expensive to come by for hunters.
Esmeralda looked up from her newspaper to see one of the working maids in the home telling her that someone was at the door, and was a young woman with nothing but a backpack and a duffle-bag. Esmeralda frowned a bit by the other woman’s circumstances of having little equipment, “Really? Thank you Susan, I’ll handle it from here.” The elder woman stood from her chair to follow the maid to the door, before nodding the other woman off, then answered the door with a smile, “Hello, how can I help you?”

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -WITH NO PLACE TO GO, NO PLACE TO GO TO DRY HER EYES BROKEN INSIDE - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Not meeting ones biological mother was sometimes an idea people couldn't fathom. Not wanting to meet them, was even more unbelievable. It wasn't that Danica held it against her mother that she gave her up for adoption. Definitely not, after all she'd gone to a good family and grown up happy. She pictured her mother as a kind, sensible person. One who gave up her daughter to have a better chance than she could give her. Danica didn't want to meet her mother and find out that what she'd thought was wrong. Find out that her mother didn't care, or that she hadn't once thought about her. It was best Danica keep thinking positive about her mother. Meeting her could ruin those happy ideas, that wasn't a chance she wanted to take. After all she doubted her mother wanted to see her, despite her thinking well of her. If her mother had wanted, she could have come and found Danica. But again she didn't hold it against her. For all Danica knew her biological mother could be in a different state, heck even a different country altogether. She didn't even know if her mother was still alive.
One thing Danica often wondered about was if she had an biological siblings. She had grown up with a brother in her adoptive household and of course they shared an amazing bond. The fact she was adopted not even playing a part in anything. They were siblings that was all that matter. Though she couldn't help but wonder. What if after her mother gave Danica up she later on had another child, or children. Danica was in the dark about the possibility of having an entire family she didn't know about. Also she had no idea of her father. Her mother never even mentioned him in the little notes she'd left. He was completely unknown to Danica, maybe he didn't even know she existence. Her mother could have kept Danica a secret entirely. That sometimes saddened her, but then she remembered of her family back home. They loved her, they decided to adopt her and love her as if she was their own. They kept her safe growing up, they showed love and affection and that was all any child wanted. So despite those other thoughts, Danica was happy with the family she had.
She wouldn't change them for the world, not even for the chance to find her mother, or any other biological family. As she stood at the door she had no idea of what to expect, of who would answer the door or if anyone even would. If no would did it would be a trip and valuable money wasted. But thankfully that wasn't the case. Just as she steadied her breath and ignored the cold air, the front door opened. Danica watched shyly as a blonde woman came to the door and spoke. "I... I heard that you could help me" she said voice soft as she looked up to the woman. "I'm a Wiccan? That's the word?" she stated, though almost in a more questioning tone. It was clear she was new to this stuff. "I'm just looking for some help. I don't have money to pay you... but I could work in return for help if I have to?" she offered. Danica was sweet and innocent, she didn't know exactly the way coming to the coven worked. Whether you need to pay them in order to receive help or not. All she knew was these people were a possible source of helping her learn who she really was and if it took working to do that, she would.
