Today, all sorts of things exist unbeknownst to the mortals of this world. Many live in harmony with their lesser counterparts, existing in some sort of parallel. But peace may not last forever as factions start to lose followers and loyalty and additionally, as crime and hunger mounts among these supernaturals. Most just want to watch you bleed.

what san fran is known for - the golden gate bridge! aside from the bridge itself, a beautiful park is located nearby with hiking trails and a nice commune area. however, danger lurks here at night.
the port of san fran is right on the ocean. it serves as a dock yard where imports and exports go through. there are also cruise lines tht run through here in addition to the storage warehouses in the area.
located right off the coast, this is one of the premier places to surf. shark sightings are at a minimal compared to the rest of the state which makes coronado beach crowded on the occasion. there is no lifeguard on duty but there are a few small souvenir shops and cafes along the shoreline.
a beautifully designed hotel, which seems to be stuck in the early 1900's. the staff here are strange and things don't always seem quite right. before careful of things that go bump in the night.
At a glance, Catriona's Curiosities is nothing more than an old bookstore - a massive, three story bookstore, but a bookstore nonetheless. However, it's bigger on the inside. Beyond the back curtain the shop doubles as a sort of safe house for supernatural creatures, whether they be on the run or just needing a temporary home in the city. The owner, Catriona Twist, charmed the back of the shop with defensive spells so only she can reveal the back rooms and allow people inside. She only asks that visitors take their fights outside and that they contribute to the store in some way, either by working during their stay or writing for her ever-growing collection.
the queen mary is a large, once functional ship off the coast of long beach. just like alcatraz, it is haunted and provides homes to supernatural guests. the hotel is run by vampires and they welcome anyone to stop by - mostly because some guests become their meals.
These are the colleges located in San Francisco, including but not limited to: San Francisco State University, Golden Gate University, Olivet University, City College of San Francisco, California Culinary Academy, and The Art Institute. The student population range in all ages and come from all sorts of walks of life, including the supernatural ones. On campus living (dorms) and off campus living (apartments) are available for all students. Night classes are also available, but not always recommended... it's not always the safest thing to be roaming around campus in the dark.
holy cross is a huge cemetery, sprawling out over many acres. during the day it's eerily peaceful to visit loved ones passed but at night, it's quite the creepshow.
alcatraz is open to the public for tours. however, no one knows of the true danger hidden behind cell doors. in a secret corridor of the abandoned prison, the lycans have found their pack home here.
ravenous is an extremely suave and beautifully designed nightclub located in the heart of san francisco. in the heart of the club, it appears just like any other swanky night spot in the city. but behind back room doors, something else lingers. this is a bar and club specially designed for mortals in the front and vampires in the back, where they can feed off of willing bleeders. killian slater created for his brother, in order to keep him from the bloodlust that plagued him, but now it is open to the public.
the blackwood estate started as a residence for the blackwood family, despite the fact that they do not all live here at any given time. it is a large mansion-like structure complete with the hired help and all. aside from living quarters, the estate also serves as a training grounds for those wiccans privileged enough to have been invited within the walls. there are surprises and magical properties hiding around every corner, so beware.
Sometimes being able to play out events of a character's past can help with character development. Whether its two lovers meeting for the first time, or any other big event, sometimes being able to see how it would have played out it a good thing.
